Saturday: Wolf Creek is open
Wolf Creek opens today and joins Arapahoe Basin and Keystone. Winter Park still has no announced date. Copper and Breckenridge stay Nov. 6. Halloween night is the last call for a long list of one-night events.
Saturday, Oct. 31. Events that ended on or before Friday are off the calendar. One-night Halloween listings end tonight.
Ski. Wolf Creek is open. The homepage says the resort opens today for the 2026-27 season. Treasure Stoke, Bonanza, and Nova run 9 a.m.–4 p.m. through Tuesday, Nov. 3, on roughly 30% of the mountain. The ski area is closed Nov. 4 and Nov. 5, reopens Nov. 6–8, then runs Fridays through Sundays until significant snowfall. Local Appreciation lift tickets are $73 for adults, $55 for seniors, and $36 for children.
Arapahoe Basin and Keystone are already open. Their opening-day pages stay off the calendar.
Winter Park still has no announced date. A field note from the week of Oct. 26 says the hours page still lists the first day as as soon as possible, and that 0 of 24 lifts were open as of that note. Winter Park stays off the calendar.
Copper and Breckenridge stay Nov. 6. Loveland still has no official opening date. Saturday's 4-Pak sale, 10 a.m.–5 p.m. at Christy Sports Park Meadows and Rack Attack in Golden, is the remaining stop. Friday's Georgetown stop has passed. That sale is not an opening.
Eat. No reviews. Sushi 37 goes On Our List. Westword says SYC Concepts opens it Nov. 11 in Cherry Creek North, with sushi, izakaya dishes, and an omakase room upstairs. Sicilia goes On Our List at 1140 Bannock St., Italian grab-and-go pasta and pizza. The same story teases a November community tasting and does not give a date. Westword also says Trader Joe's plans a Central Park store at Avenues at Northfield in 2027, with no day named. That is news, not a place on this site. Eats on the Platte is on its opening weekend. Ranalli's at Federales still lists free slices today, 4–6 p.m., one per person, while they last.
Tonight. The Colorado Symphony's Nightmare Before Christmas is at 2 p.m. at Boettcher Concert Hall. The ticket page says families are welcome, costumes are encouraged, and the film is PG. Prices on that page range from $20 to $124 plus fees and taxes. Meow Wolf's Cosmic Howl is 8 p.m.–1 a.m. and 21+. LEVEL999 at Tracks and ReelWorks, 3500 Walnut St., has doors at 8 p.m., is 21+, and lists GA at $25. Ghosts in the Gardens is on its final night. Boo at the Zoo's sensory-friendly night, 4:30–9 p.m., is the closing night.
Still on tonight's calendar: deadmau5 at Red Rocks. Halloween After Dark at Union Station, 7–11:30 p.m., and the station page says entry is free. The Halloween Book Bash, and Westword says it is free. Indoor trick-or-treating at Junction, and Westword says it is free for kids. The Avalanche play the Flames at 8 p.m. The Rapids play Chicago Fire at 7:30 p.m.
Sunday. The Broncos play the Chiefs at 2:25 p.m. Thornton's Día de los Muertos is noon–5 p.m., and the listing says it is free. The Colorado Symphony's Día de los Muertos Celebration is at 2:30 p.m. Magic of the Jack O'Lanterns at Hudson Gardens has Sunday as its final day. Clocks fall back at 2 a.m.
The evening check took events that end Oct. 31 off the calendar. That note is Halloween is off the calendar.
