Evening: Halloween is off the calendar

Events that end Oct. 31 are off the calendar. Wolf Creek's homepage now lists 1 inch today, a 17-inch midway depth, and 27 inches for the year. A-Basin is still on one run. Keystone's terrain page and OnTheSnow do not match on lifts. Eldora schedules Nov. 13. Loveland and Winter Park still have no date.

Saturday evening, Oct. 31. One-day events dated Oct. 31, and anything else that ended today, are off the calendar. Sunday stays.

Ski. Wolf Creek is open. The homepage, checked this evening, says the ski area received 1 inch of new snow today. The latest storm total is 5 inches. The midway depth is 17 inches. Year-to-date snowfall is 27 inches. The page calls the snow powder and packed powder, and also springlike, early season, and highly variable, with rocks, unmarked obstacles, and possible open water. Treasure Stoke, Bonanza, and Nova still run 9 a.m.–4 p.m. through Tuesday, Nov. 3, on roughly 30% of the mountain. OnTheSnow's open-resorts list shows a 17-inch base, 3 of 11 lifts, and 43 of 144 runs. The Thursday, Oct. 29 figures on that homepage, a 12-inch midway and a 20-inch storm, are older than this evening's numbers.

Arapahoe Basin's snow report lists no snow in the past 24 or 48 hours, an 18-inch base, a high of 38°F, a low of 30°F, 1 of 147 runs, 1 of 9 lifts, and 1 of 10 areas. It says there is no beginner terrain.

Keystone's counts do not match. The terrain page, checked Saturday evening, listed 1 of 144 trails and 1 of 21 lifts, about 1 percent of the terrain. OnTheSnow's Oct. 31 report lists an 18-inch base, 2 of 21 lifts, 44 acres, no snow today, and does not list how many runs are open. This note prints both.

Loveland's hours page still says late October or early November and lists the lifts closed for the season. There is still no official date. Saturday's 4-Pak sale is over, so that page is off the calendar. Winter Park's hours page still says as soon as possible and does not name a day. Copper's trail report still says Nov. 6, 2026. Breckenridge's hours page still says opening day is November 6. Eldora's FAQ schedules opening day for Friday, November 13. That date is now on the calendar.

Eat. Westword's Oct. 31 roll call recaps October openings and closings. The openings it names that are already on this list stay there. The closures it names are not places on this list, so nothing comes off Eat. No new review.

Sunday. The Broncos play the Chiefs at 2:25 p.m. The stadium page still lists gates at 12:30 p.m. Yandel is at Red Rocks at 8 p.m. Teddy Swims is at Ball Arena at 7 p.m. Thornton's Día de los Muertos is noon–5 p.m.

Monday. Women+ on the Edge of Democracy is a free reading on the west steps of the Colorado State Capitol. The Theatre Guild lists noon.

Later. Christmas in Color is a drive-through light show at Red Rocks. Arts & Venues lists Nov. 27 through Jan. 2 at 5:30 p.m. and does not list Dec. 25.
