Friday: Keystone is open
Keystone is open for the 2026/27 season. Arapahoe Basin is already open. Winter Park and Loveland still have no official date. Loveland's 4-Pak sale is this weekend, not an opening.
Friday, Oct. 30. Thursday's Red Rocks show, Thursday's Ball Arena show, BOOnion Station, and Mile High Trunk or Treat are off the calendar.
Ski. Keystone is open for the 2026/27 season. The announcement sets today, Friday, Oct. 30, 9 a.m.–4 p.m., with Schoolmarm and Silver Spoon, a hike-to terrain park via the River Run Gondola and Montezuma Express, and a live DJ after the lifts close. This note does not print a ticket price.
Arapahoe Basin is already open. Its opening post says it opened Wednesday, Oct. 28, for its 80th season, the first resort in Colorado. Opening day is past, so that one-day page stays off the calendar.
Winter Park stays date TBA. Winter Park's hours page still says the resort will open as soon as possible. It does not name a day, so Winter Park stays off the calendar.
Loveland stays date TBA. There is no official opening date. Loveland's pass-sale page lists in-person 4-Pak sales today, Friday, Oct. 30, 5–8 p.m. at Cabin Creek Brewing in Georgetown, and Saturday, Oct. 31, 10 a.m.–5 p.m. at Christy Sports Park Meadows and Rack Attack in Golden, with $10 off 4-Paks in person. That sale is not an opening.
Copper's winter trail report confirms Friday, Nov. 6. Colorado.com lists Breckenridge for Nov. 6. Those dates are unchanged.
Eat. No reviews. Eats on the Platte goes On Our List at 2500 W. 10th Ave. in Sun Valley. Westword says the food hall opens this weekend and names Wings Social Co, from the Konjo Ethiopian team, Jama Miami Cuban, Jalapeno Business, La Brewjula Cafe, Corazon de Tita, and a bar. Egg Lush Cafe goes On Our List as coming in November, a Korean breakfast spot from Colorado Springs. The listing names owner Rachel Nam and 1360 N. Grant St. in Capitol Hill. Today's notes do not name a restaurant or bar on these lists as closed, so nothing came off Eat or Nightlife.
Weekend. Ghosts in the Gardens is tonight at Denver Botanic Gardens on York Street, 4:30–10:30 p.m. Denverite lists $29 for members and $34 for non-members, with timed entry. The Chatfield Farms corn maze is on its last weekend, 9 a.m.–5 p.m., and Denverite lists $20–$22 for adults. Magic of the Jack O'Lanterns at Hudson Gardens is on its last weekend and ends Sunday. The Haunting at Steuben's, 523 E 17th Ave, is a Halloween cocktail pop-up from the Miracle team. 303 Magazine lists free entry. The Halloween Book Bash is Saturday, 9 a.m.–8 p.m., at the Denver Book Society, and Westword says it is free. Indoor trick-or-treating at Junction Food & Drink is Saturday, 11 a.m.–8 p.m., and Westword says it is free for kids. Thornton's 10th annual Día de los Muertos is Sunday, noon–5 p.m., at McAllister Park Center, and Westword says it is free. The Colorado Symphony's Día de los Muertos Celebration is Sunday at 2:30 p.m. at Boettcher Hall. That listing does not print a price.
Already on the calendar: deadmau5 at Red Rocks Friday and Saturday. Boo at the Zoo is Friday. Halloween After Dark at Union Station is Saturday, and the station page says entry is free. The Rapids play Chicago Fire Saturday at 7:30 p.m. The Avalanche play the Flames Saturday. The Broncos play the Chiefs Sunday at 2:25 p.m. Teddy Swims is Sunday at 7 p.m. at Ball Arena. Clocks fall back at 2 a.m. Sunday.
