Tuesday: Halloween weekend is set, and no resort has opened

Tuesday, Oct. 27. Daylight saving time ends at 2 a.m. Sunday, Nov. 1. OnesToWatch's Halloween concert roundup, updated today, says clocks move back one hour then. Sunday afternoon times after that are Mountain Standard Time.

Off the calendar. Evanescence at Red Rocks and the Nuggets against the Warriors were Monday. Both files came off. Boo at the Zoo's dates before Friday, Oct. 30, came off that listing. Friday and the Saturday sensory-friendly night stay. Crawl-O-Ween's Oct. 24 and Oct. 25 dates came off. Oct. 31 stays. The Oct. 24 Trick or Drink night is past and was not left on the calendar. Friday and Saturday of that crawl are the nights listed now.

Tonight and the arena. The Smashing Pumpkins are at Ball Arena tonight at 8 p.m. Dan + Shay are there Thursday at 7 p.m. Teddy Swims is there Sunday at 7 p.m. Those three were already on the calendar. Ball Arena Premium's events list is an added source. Tucker Wetmore is at Red Rocks tonight at 7:30 p.m. That show was already listed.

Halloween weekend. Halloween After Dark at Denver Union Station is Saturday, Oct. 31, 7–11:30 p.m., with free entry, a DJ, cocktails, and a costume contest that also covers photos from Oct. 30. The station page is the one that prints 11:30 p.m.

Boo at the Zoo is Friday, Oct. 30, 4:30–9 p.m. The sensory-friendly night is Saturday, Oct. 31, same hours. It is on the family list because the zoo's pages describe a trick-or-treat night for little ones and everyone. It is not free. Prices stay on the event page.

Trick or Drink checks in at One Shot Back, 2134 Curtis St. Friday is 6 p.m.–2 a.m. Saturday is 4 p.m.–2 a.m. Eventbrite says 21+. The page does not print a price. Bars on that page include Cervantes' Other Side, The Ginn Mill, Larimer Beer Hall, The Retro Room, and Whiskey Bar, plus others named on the event page.

deadmau5 is at Red Rocks Saturday. The Red Rocks page lists doors at 7 p.m. and a 7:30 p.m. start. Friday's show is a separate listing from the same venue page. OnesToWatch calls Saturday the second night.

Matroda is at Mission Ballroom Friday. AXS lists doors at 8 p.m. Whethan's 360 show is there Saturday. AXS lists doors at 9 p.m. OnesToWatch lists that show at 8 p.m. This calendar keeps the AXS doors time and says so on the page. The Motet is at Cervantes' Friday (Jamiroquai, doors 7 p.m., show 8 p.m.) and Saturday (Funk Is Dead with The Jauntee, same times).

Haunted Mansion, with Loud Luxury, is at the Fillmore on Friday. Live Nation and the Gazette's Oct. 26 roundup both list 8 p.m. OnesToWatch lists doors at 6 p.m. and a 7 p.m. show. The event page keeps 8 p.m. and records the other time. The Gazette lists $40 and up.

Sips & Sugar Skulls is new. The Gazette lists it Friday, Oct. 30, 5–7 p.m., at Kachina Cantina, 1890 Wazee St., for $25.

The Mexican Cultural Center lists a Día de Muertos celebration Sunday, Nov. 1, noon–5 p.m., at McAllister Park Center, 750 W 96th Ave., Thornton. The page calls the celebration free. It also lists food trucks and a market, and it does not say those are free. Sacred Society's free afternoon in Denver is a different event, already on the calendar.

Sports. The Avalanche host the Devils Wednesday at 7 p.m. and the Flames Saturday at 8 p.m., both at Ball Arena. Those were already listed. The Broncos host the Chiefs Sunday, Nov. 1, at Empower Field at Mile High. The stadium page lists 2:25 p.m. and gates at 12:30 p.m. The Broncos schedule lists the game on CBS. The Nuggets' next home game is Monday, Nov. 2, at 7 p.m. against the Trail Blazers. That was already on the schedule page.

Ski. As of the Aspen Times story dated Oct. 26, no Colorado resort had announced an October opening. Arapahoe Basin had 3 inches of natural snow and was snowmaking. Keystone, Arapahoe Basin, Loveland, and Winter Park are still "as soon as possible," not a day. Keystone's first lift tickets for sale are Oct. 31. That is not an opening, so Keystone stays off the calendar. Days that stay: Breckenridge and Copper Nov. 6, Vail Nov. 13, Steamboat Nov. 21, Beaver Creek Nov. 25, Aspen Mountain and Snowmass Nov. 26. Eat. No reviews. Ranalli's walk-up window at Federales in RiNo is still set for Thursday, Oct. 29, with a free slice on Halloween from 4–6 p.m. while supplies last. Axios is the source for the slice. Risica, Den Thai Street, Maria Empanada at Union Station, The Pretzelry, and Banh Mi House were already On Our List from Westword and Axios. Nothing new was added for them.

Westword's Oct. 24 list still says The Greenwich at 3258 Larimer, Park & Co. in Uptown (final service Oct. 19), The L at 46 Broadway, and Bluegrass Coffee & Bourbon Lounge in Arvada have closed. None of them was a page on Eat or Nightlife, so nothing came off those lists.

South Denver Guide says Roaming Buffalo will close its storefront at 2387 S. Downing St. on Sunday, Nov. 29, and keep going as catering from the space next door. It was not a page here, so nothing came off Eat. It is not a review.
