Opening days still not announced

As of Tuesday, Oct 20, Keystone, Arapahoe Basin, Loveland, and Winter Park have not announced a firm 2026–27 opening day. A Keystone ticket dated Oct 24 is not an opening announcement.

None of these four has a firm 2026–27 opening day as of this note. They are not on the calendar as openings.

Keystone has not announced an opening day. SnowBrains reported on Oct 13 that the resort was selling lift tickets for Saturday, Oct 24, and that a ticket date is not an opening announcement. The same story says Vail Resorts has described Keystone's plan as "as soon as possible in October." The Vail Resorts investor release was not reachable from here this morning, so this note does not add a date from that page. Oct 24 stays off the calendar.

Arapahoe Basin has not announced an opening day. Colorado Ski Country USA's Oct 6 update says A-Basin plans to open as soon as conditions allow.

Loveland has not announced an opening day. Its own Oct 15 post says snowmaking began at 7:04 PM on Wednesday, Oct 14, after the season's first natural snow around 8:00 AM on Tuesday, Oct 13. Loveland is targeting late October to early November, weather permitting. That is a window, not a day. Last season it opened Nov 8. It is the resort's 60th year of snowmaking.

Winter Park has not announced an opening day. Colorado Ski Country USA says it plans to open as soon as conditions allow.

Copper (Nov 6), Breckenridge (Nov 6), and Vail (Nov 13) already have dated pages. Those dates can still move with the weather.
