Sunday: last days, new kitchens, and ski dates
Events that end Nov. 1 stay through today and drop off after tonight. Marczyk's FineBurger, El Tejado on Wadsworth, and Holm are On Our List, without scores. Arapahoe Basin, Keystone, and Wolf Creek stay open. Copper and Breckenridge stay Nov. 6. Loveland and Winter Park still have no official date.
Sunday, Nov. 1. One-day events dated today stay on the calendar through tonight. They drop off after today. Anything that ended Oct. 31 or earlier is already off.
Today. The Denver Coliseum lists the Día de Muertos Festival from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. Tickets are on sale. The page does not print a price. Opera Colorado sings at the Denver Art Museum at 11 a.m. and noon, about 15 minutes each. The museum calendar does not print a price. Denverite says prices vary. Thornton's Día de Muertos at McAllister Park Center is already on the calendar, noon–5 p.m., and the Mexican Cultural Center page calls it free. Denverite lists Colorado Currents at MCA Denver, 10 a.m.–5 p.m., as the last weekend. Ages 18 and under and members are the free line in that guide. It is not free for every visitor. The Denver Film Festival's own page runs through today and lists a DFF49 Awards Brunch on Sunday, Nov. 1, without a time or a price. Denverite lists festival hours of 10 a.m.–7:15 p.m. The Chatfield Farms corn maze and Magic of the Jack O'Lanterns at Hudson Gardens are also on their last day.
Eat. Marczyk's FineBurger is On Our List. Hoodline says the Northfield grand opening is Thursday, Nov. 5, 4–6 p.m., with free burger samples. El Tejado on Wadsworth is On Our List. The Hogback Post says the Lakewood grand opening is Wednesday, Nov. 4. Holm stays On Our List. Markets of Tomorrow says a November 2026 opening is planned at 609 Corona St. in Congress Park, with no exact day. None of these is a review.
South Denver Guide says Roaming Buffalo's last day at 2387 S. Downing St. is Sunday, Nov. 29, and that catering continues. That restaurant is not an Eat listing, and this site does not keep a separate closings list, so the date lives in this note.
Ski. Arapahoe Basin, Keystone, and Wolf Creek stay open. Copper's opening page still says Friday, November 6. Breckenridge stays that same Friday. Loveland's Oct. 26 snowmaking update says there is still no official opening date. The aim it prints, late October or early November, is not an opening day. It also says last season opened Nov. 8, which is not this year's date. Winter Park still has no official date. Colorado Ski Country USA's Oct. 6 release lists Copper for Nov. 6 and still said Arapahoe Basin had not announced a day. That Arapahoe Basin line is older than the opening already recorded here.
This week. Fuerza Regida is already on the Red Rocks calendar for Monday, Nov. 2, at 8 p.m. Colorado Parent lists a $12 Tuesday night at the Children's Museum on Nov. 3. It does not say that night is free. The Denver Art Museum's free day on Saturday, Nov. 7, is already filed from the museum's own free-days page. The Denver Christmas Show site lists Nov. 6–8 at the National Western Center and does not print a price. Bright Nights at Four Mile runs evenings through Nov. 8 and is ticketed.
