José Santos Jr. is slated to open a second Santos Café & Grill in November 2026 at 410 E. 7th Ave., the former Syrup space. The restaurant's site still lists only the East Colfax address. We have not eaten here.

BusinessDen's Oct. 8, 2026 story says José Santos Jr. is slated to open his second full-service Santos Café & Grill in November at 410 E. 7th Ave. in Capitol Hill, replacing Syrup. Dining Out's Oct. 28 note says the Capitol Hill location is expected next month in the former Syrup space, and that it is the second full-service location. The restaurant's own site lists the East Colfax restaurant at 1141 Syracuse Street and does not mention 410 E. 7th Ave. It does not give a Capitol Hill opening day.
