Westword's Oct. 23, 2026 story says Black Box Bakery, at the Edgewater Public Market, is opening a second location in the old Suzette space, also in Edgewater, and that the two spots are less than a mile apart. The story says the new space opens Nov. 7, with a soft opening the week before. It says a soft opening usually means limited hours and products, and that the full cafe is expected to serve the bakery's baked goods and laminated pastries, plus ice cream, chocolates, and an expanded sandwich program, with tables.
